The ratio R(t/3He) as a function of |cos(α2)|

A novel probe, of which the fission event topology is better controlled, was introduced to explore the spatial isospin distribution within rapidly rotating fast-fission system. In 25MeV/u 86Kr +natPb reactions, we observed an enhancement of neutron rich particle emission from out-of-fission-plane. This increasing trend has the potential to serve as a sensitive probe of nuclear symmetry energy.
