WGD in Ovarian Cancer (IMAGE)
Caption
MSK researchers found low levels of STING activation (orange) in ovarian cancers with high levels of whole-genome duplication (left) compared to those with low levels (right). This revealed how genome doubling can repress the STING pathway, which would normally activate immune cells to fight the cancer.
