NS3D Simulation Image 3 (IMAGE)
Caption
The top of this figure represents the IAG team's large-scale simulation, which captured the complete development of a turbulent boundary layer from low to high Reynolds numbers. As a flow moves across a surface, the outer region of the turbulent boundary layer becomes thicker. Beyond a certain point, it retains similar physical properties.
