UVA's new imaging approach could have great benefits for patients with glioblastoma, the deadliest brain cancer. “Early distinction would enable earlier treatment modifications for tumor recurrence in brain cancer patients,” said David Schiff, MD, part of UVA’s Departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Medicine. Schiff is also co-director of UVA Health’s Neuro-Oncology Center.
