Insha Shafi is a Ph.D student in the entomology and plant pathology department of the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences at the University of Arkansas. Shafi and Rupesh Kariyat, associate professor of crop entomology for the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, recently published work showing transgenerational imprints of sequential herbivory on soybean physiology and fitness traits.
