ISTA Assistant Professor Ylva Götberg has received a Starting Grant of 1.5 million euros from the European Research Council. She researches pairs of stars in which one ‘steals’ the hydrogen-rich envelopes of its companion, leaving the helium core exposed. Götberg was recently named as one of Time‘s 100 Emerging Leaders.
