Robertsonian fusion chromosomes

This image shows Robertsonian fusion chromosomes and their normal, non-fused counterparts from three different human cell lines. Chromosomes are labeled by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) with whole chromosome paints denoting chromosome 14 in red, chromosomes 13 and 21 in green, and SST1 repeat probe in yellow, highlighting the fusion point of the Robertsonian chromosomes.
