A TTUHSC research team published new evidence suggesting that the blood-brain barrier (BBB) remains largely intact in a commonly used mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease. Ehsan Nozohouri, a TTUHSC graduate research assistant, was lead author; Ulrich Bickel, M.D., (not pictured) was principal investigator and senior author.
