Yersinia pseudotuberculosis (IMAGE)
Caption
Atomic force microscopy images of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis cells that lack the RfaH protein growing under high salt condition. As a result of not having RfaH, the bacteria have faulty surfaces which cause them to clump together in a stressful, high-salt environment.
