Jan von Arx working onboard RV Poseidon. “Our cruise took us to the Black Sea in November and we were warned that the weather will be horrible and we should expect strong winds and big waves. Packed to the full with sea-sickness medication, we ended up having the most beautiful sunny and calm water, and blue skies. Our only problem ended up being that we didn’t pack enough short-sleeved T-shirts”, he reports.
