This illustration shows how an AI-based surrogate brain can be used to analyze system-level brain dynamics (including phase portraits, neural manifolds, and network activity), serve as an in-silico simulation platform for virtual surgery and “what-if” experiments, and guide both non-invasive and invasive neurostimulation by helping determine where, when, and how to stimulate the brain.
