FXYD1 is found in the brain, heart, liver, and muscle. FXYD5 is expressed in the lung, heart, liver, kidney, and colon. FXYD2/4 localize mainly in the kidney and colon, while FXYD3 appears in the colon, stomach, and uterus. FXYD6 is enriched in the brain and ovaries, and FXYD7 is primarily in the brain.
