A sourceless efficiency calibration method based on boolean operations of ray deposition.

A Monte Carlo–derived ray-deposition database is combined with geometric computations to form a new sourceless efficiency calibration method. It maintains accurate detection-efficiency estimates while greatly improving computational efficiency.
