Allen Szalanski is a professor and entomology geneticist for the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences at the Univeristy of Arkansas. He led a study among Arkansas and Florida researchers examining rice stink bug genetics showing more genetic variation in the native species than two invasive species, providing clues for monitoring and insecticide resistance.
