Kristen Gibson was part of an effort to develop an online game that teaches food safety for farmers market vendors through a $550,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Institue of Food and Agriculture. Gibson is a professor, Donald “Buddy” Wray Endowed Chair in Food Safety, and director of the Center for Food Safety for the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, the research arm of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.
