Five MOFs (IMAGE)
Caption
Subject of the Nobel prize in Chemistry 2025, MOFs are a novel class of highly porous materials that hold a great promise for many applications in chemistry, healthcare and environmental technology. Their synthesis, however, can be quite elusive. These scanning electron micrographs show five different samples of a MOF named MIL-125-NH2, prepared following the same procedure but in different environments with chemicals from different suppliers.
