Conservatory: Beneath the soaring glass of the Palm House at Kew Gardens is an extraordinary diversity of plant life reflecting some of the evolutionary breadth captured by The Conservatory Project — a comparative genomic dataset identifying ~2.3 million conserved non-coding sequences (CNSs) across 314 genomes from 284 species in 72 plant families, spanning eudicots, monocots, gymnosperms and algae.
