Left: Without protection, (FB)₂MnCl₄ hybrid perovskite oxidizes into featureless grains upon air exposure. Right: With continuous cryogenic protection and ultra-low-dose imaging, individual atomic columns—manganese-chloride octahedra sandwiched between organic layers—are clearly resolved at 1.56 Å resolution.
