Ultrasound examination of the carotid arteries within the VIPVIZA study. By visualising early signs of atherosclerosis in the carotid arteries, participants gain a clearer understanding of their future cardiovascular risk, which may strengthen motivation for preventive lifestyle changes and treatment.
