Researchers at UC Berkeley and City of Hope develop a machine-learning platform to identify individuals susceptible to breast cancer based on mechanical properties of single cells. The technique, called mechano-node pore sensing (Mechano-NPS), is described in a new paper appearing in Lancet’s eBioMedicine.
