This flowchart illustrates the patient enrollment process: 261 GI tumor patients and 146 lung cancer patients (>=70 years old) were enrolled from 2016 to 2022. After 2:1 propensity score matching (PSM) to balance baseline characteristics (gender, smoking history, ECOG score, etc.), 197 GI tumor patients and 133 lung cancer patients were included in the final analysis.
