Credible intervals for symmetric-matter energy, symmetry energy, and neutron-star pressure. (IMAGE)

This figure translates the parameter constraints into physically intuitive quantities. As the assumed radius precision improves, the pressure bands move toward a softer equation of state with lower internal pressure. The symmetric nuclear matter sector becomes much better constrained, while the symmetry energy shows different trends for different functionals, underscoring the interplay between observational precision and model assumptions.
