Alyssa Lyon, a doctoral candidate in Virginia Tech's Translational Biology, Medicine, and Health Graduate Program, is the first author of a study conducted by the Van der Heijden Lab at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute that challenges assumptions researchers have made about neuron activity related to movement disorders.
