The figure shows the core strategy behind the framework. Inspired by the way genetic elements can be selected and arranged to produce diverse biological traits, the researchers treat time-domain modulation waveforms as reusable modulation units. A vision-to-sequence neural network then converts a desired illusion pattern into the temporal modulation sequence required to drive the metasurface.
