A task-driven framework for programmable electromagnetic illusions

This schematic illustrates how a user-defined illusion pattern can be translated into a digital temporal modulation sequence by an inverse-design network. The programmable metasurface then executes the sequence across different time segments, allowing a radar detector to reconstruct an electromagnetic illusion that has no corresponding physical target in space.
