Two soliton formation routes in a non-Hermitian skin lattice. (IMAGE)
Caption
Green denotes skin-mode-assisted solitons, which appear in regions where skin modes accumulate. Red denotes nonreciprocity-dressed solitons, which appear away from the accumulation region. The former benefit from linear skin-mode localization, whereas the latter are affected by enhanced directional spreading caused by band nonreciprocity.
