Vials containing cultures of bacteria expressing VNp tagged fluorescent proteins (with green or red) in which the bacteria have been pelleted at the bottom. The liquid, or media, are coloured due to the presence of fluorescent protein-filled vesicles, that have been released from the bacteria while they were growing.
