The researchers conducted vehicle-mounted field-deployment experiments around East China Normal University (ECNU) and the surrounding urban area of Shanghai. The red trace in (a) indicates the 47 km driving route from ECNU to Laogang Town (LT). (b) shows the route of the on-campus field tests, with A-G showing various buildings on campus. A controlled natural-gas leakage patrol measurement was conducted near point D (green segment). (c) is a photograph of the vehicle-based system during outdoor measurements.
