Climate disclosure progress hidden in the average

The graph shows two trends behind the change in average CDP climate scores. The 1,470 “stayers”—companies assessed in both 2016 and 2025—gained an average of 1.12 points. Changes in the mix of companies through “entrants” and “exiters” offset 0.70 points of this gain, leaving an overall increase of 0.42 points.
