Renowned innovator, chemical engineer and applied physicist Dr. John Rogers is winner of the prestigious 2011 $500,000 Lemelson-MIT Prize. Rogers’ research has led to innovations in sustainable solar power and flexible electronics for surgical procedures. These innovations are in commercial use by Semprius and MC10, companies co-founded by Rogers.
