Bladen Engda of the Authority for Research and Conservation of Cultural Heritage of Ethiopia displays a sharp-edged tool that has just been recovered from 2.6 million year old sediments in Ethiopia. These chipped stones would have been used to cut meat from carcasses by our earliest ancestors.
