A prototype for doing a skin biopsy in 5 minutes and a simulator for training doctors in minimally invasive surgery are some of the innovative projects in the process of being patented that have arisen from the relationship between the university and medical centers in the region. These are some of the examples that were spoken of at the 2nd Meeting between the UC3M and the Madrid center of the Platform for Innovation in Medical and Healthcare Technology.
