Prof. Stanley Riddell, of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the University of Washington, is a pioneer in cell-based therapy. As a fellow of the TUM Institute for Advanced Study, he worked closely with Prof. Dirk Busch's lab in Munich to further develop the T-cell "off rate" assay and to test it with human T cells.
