同腹仔（きょうだい）に対し、対照ウイルス（右）またはO-GlcNAc転移酵素（OGT）ノックアウトウイルス（左）を、脳内視床下部の細胞サブ集団（αCaMKII陽性室傍核ニューロン）に注入した。OGTノックアウトにより、マウスの食餌摂取量は同腹仔の2倍になった。この写真はウイルス注入の約5週間後のもの。
