On Jan. 27 from 1:59 to 11:15 UTC, RapidScat saw the nor'easter's strongest winds (dark red) from eastern Long Island, NY to southern Nova Scotia, Canada with sustained between 30 meters per second (108 kph/67.1 mph) to 35 m/s (78.2 mph/126 kph).
