Hypothesized position of the Indian subcontinent and an early Eocene land bridge allowing for the first inferred dispersal event from Eurasia into India, 50-55 million years ago, and position of the ISC and a middle-late Eocene land bridge allowing for the second first inferred dispersal event from Eurasia into India between 35-50 MYA.
