This is a detailed structure of an alpha-actinin dimer. The head is shown in red, the neck is in yellow and the L-shaped parts are displayed in purple and blue. The blue domain is bound to the titin-like motif of the neck region of the opposing molecule. The rod-shaped body is made up of helical structures (green), aligned in a zigzag and resembling fusilli pasta.
