Stanton Landslide (IMAGE)
Caption
The Stanton Landslide (center middle distance) is over 800 meters across and has left an obvious scar in the hillside above the deposit. The narrow gorge the landslide formed in limited the distance the landslide could travel but caused it to block the river that used to run here, forming the new landslide dammed lake on the left foreground.
