Tanks (300-L 'minicosms') in which onboard experiments will be performed during the TONGA Project. Each tank will contain different mixtures of surface waters and hydrothermal fluids, to simulate the fertilising or toxic effects these fluids have on biological communities, and especially on phytoplankton.
