Purinergic Signaling Polarizes T Cells to Allow Them to Migrate (1 of 1) (VIDEO)
Caption
Stimulating P2Y11 receptors with an activating compound resulted in rounded cell shapes and the progressive loss of mitochondrial activity throughout the T cells. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Sep. 29, 2020, issue of Science Signaling, published by AAAS. The paper, by C. Ledderose at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA; and colleagues was titled, "The purinergic receptor P2Y11 choreographs the polarization, mitochondrial metabolism, and migration of T lymphocytes."
