Electron microscopy (EM) image of Pseudomonas phage Pf, an inovirus infecting Pseudomonas hosts. Inovirus capsids are long flexible filaments visible here after sample concentration and precipitation. The image is related to a Nature Microbiology paper released July 22, 2019, by a team led by Simon Roux, a research scientist at the US Department of Energy Joint Genome Institute.
