Different visibility scenarios can be created in the driving simulator. Upper left: Conditions of clear visibility. In the upper right image, the contrast in the landscape was equally reduced across all distances. The bottom left image corresponds to a foggy landscape. Visibility is strongly reduced in the distant regions. In "anti-fog" (bottom right), the exact opposite is the case: visibility improves, as you look further into the distances.
