Middle Cambrian carbonate units within the hangingwall of the Simpson Pass thrust exposed along the western shore of Emerald Lake. Cliff-forming units of the Cambrian Waterfowl, Arctomys, Pika, and Eldon (lowest cliff former) Formations are visible at Emerald Peak (snow-covered peak in background). The Stephen Formation shale is present in the recessive slopes immediately below the cliffs of the Eldon Formation.
