This is a photo of jumping bristletail, Lepismachilis y-signata. The wingless insect has strikingly long antennae, although its sense of smell is not strongly developed. Jumping bristletails belong to the order of Archaeognatha ('ancient jaw'), the most primitive group of insects. They are often found in moist and rocky environments, such as cliffs along coasts.
