The Ellipsys Vascular Access System enables patients with kidney failure to start lifesaving dialysis treatments sooner, according to a new study published in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Compared to surgical fistulas, both Ellipsys and the WavelinQ™ 4F System reduced the time to dialysis - the mean time to cannulation for WavelinQ was 90 days, compared to 60 days with Ellipsys.
