Robert Shahverdyan, MD, discusses his new study published in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, which is the first comparison of outcomes with Ellipsys and WavelinQ devices for percutaneous arteriovenous fistula (pAVF) creation. While both systems demonstrated high levels of technical success and low complication rates, Dr. Shahverdyan discusses the greater patient eligibility, higher secondary patency and reduced time to dialysis with the Ellipsys Vascular Access System.
