New results from the MAVEN mission reveal that substantial loss of atmosphere is what dramatically changed the climate of Mars. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the March 31, 2017, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by B.M. Jakoskyat University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo., and colleagues was titled, "Mars' atmospheric history derived from upper-atmosphere measurements of 38Ar/36Ar."
