Over Half (51 Percent) of the Reported Hiv Diagnoses Happen in a Late Stage of Infection

The proportion of those who are diagnosed late is increasing with age. Across the whole Region, 65 percent (EU/EEA: 63 percent) of people aged 50 and older were diagnosed late in the course of their HIV infection.
