Temperature Offset (IMAGE)
Caption
Global analysis of temperature offsets were defined at the differences between temperatures recorded during the pelagic drift of the foraminifera and local temperature at the core site. This analysis shows that fossils with 180 days life span were living in temperatures that were as much as 3 degree cooler or warmer than that estimated from the core location.
