Diattenuation Imaging

Diattenuation Imaging (DI) provides structural information about brain tissue. The colors reveals the direction of polarization for which a maximum amount of light passes through the brain section. Regions for which this polarization direction runs parallel (or perpendicular) to the fiber direction are marked in green (or magenta).
